Home Inspector Examinations

ITI’s PHI (Professional Home Inspector) certification exam contains 200 questions and has a four-hour time limit. The CHI (Certified Home Inspector) certification exam contains 100 questions and has a two-hour time limit. The only time interval that will be announced is the last ten minutes remaining in each exam.

There is only one correct answer per question. Choose the best answer. Each correct answer is worth 1/2 point (CHI 1 point). The passing score is 70. A score of 69.5 does not pass.

You will receive notification of your score immediately via e-mail. If you do not pass the initial exam, you may register for additional exams as needed. You may come in and review your exam.
