Kimberly St. Louis is a native of Northern Wisconsin. She received degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Arizona. While working in the Investment industry in California, she obtained her California Real Estate License and the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation. She moved back to Wisconsin in 2001.
Kimberly’s family introduced her into home inspections, as her step-mother performed energy inspections for a Wisconsin Utility company for many years, and her father has independently built two homes. Her training includes comprehensive classroom and apprenticing actual inspections at the A-PRO Headquarters. Extended and continuing education & training has been acquired at the AHIT (American Home Institute Training) school in Waukesha, Wisconsin and many National Conventions. She passed the state and national exams, and is currently licensed in Wisconsin (License #1198-106).
Kimberly believes in giving a thorough, honest, ethical inspection that goes above and beyond the ASHI inspection standards, all at a competitive price. She understands the frustrations of selling or purchasing your home, and also is aware of how overwhelming the experience can be if you are a single woman in the market for the first time. She prides herself on taking on the ability to explain in layman’s terms the various aspects of a home. Over 500 items are inspected and a 20+ page report is given for each inspection. PHOTOGRAPHS are included. This can help contractors identify the exact location of any problems uncovered, along with possibly offering additional bargaining power to the buyer. A FREE 90-day Limited Home Warranty is also provided with EVERY inspection. A-Pro Home Inspection Services in Madison, WI came back with high Radon Gas Levels in 54% of the homes tested in 2005. A Radon Continuous Monitor, 2 day test for a home costs $125. This service does not require a home inspection to be scheduled.
Professional General Liability Insurance and E&O Insurance is maintained. A-Pro Home Inspection Services can email you your report with pictures the same day the inspection is done.
Kimberly has been an active member of the South Central WI Council of Home Inspectors, and has had active roles as Secretary and Vice President. She has been a member of ASHI and NACHI throughout the years.
